Totana City Council held a public recognition of the work which plays teachers to acknowledge the contribution they make to Totana education.
Thus, it was unanimously agreed by all political groups of the Municipal Corporation, who decided to call one of the newly created positions Triptolemos neighborhood with the name "The Plaza of the Master."
This motion by the Councillor for Education, Trini Cayuela, aims to increase the prestige and value of teaching and raise self-esteem of teachers.
Also approved unanimously by all political groups and designation of representative municipal school board president, the Councillor for Education, Trini Cayuela, that after taking this new competition recently, will hold this position.
In addition, the Town Hall will join the commemoration of World Day for Rare Diseases participating in various events to be held on February 28.

Through this motion the City Council adheres to the Declaration of Principles for State Pact for Rare Disorders, proposed by the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases, which is intended as part of a comprehensive and multisectoral strategy to remove obstacles in Spain and guaranteeing the rights of citizens in the process from research to access to health resources.
On the other hand, corporate unanimously approved the proposal submitted by the Councillor for the Environment, Trini Cayuela, through which the City will sign a cooperation agreement with the company "European Recycling Plattform, ERP SAS" for the collection of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
The management of WEEE will not only any financial cost to the city of Totana, according to the mayor, but he will receive a sum of money periodically depending on the amounts collected from this type of waste.
The City Council will urge the General Council of the Judiciary to promote the modernization process of justice and give it the necessary resources for proper operation
The Full Council of Totana unanimously approved the motion presented by the Municipal People's Party to ask the General Council of the Judiciary and the Ministry of Justice to promote definitely a modernization process of justice and provide it with material resources, economic and human resources required for the proper performance of their important role in a democratic state of law.
On the other hand, aporbó the amendment to the whole by the PP to the motion of the Municipal Group of IU + Greens to proceed with the construction of a track for young users of the skateboard and an agreement for the attendance of Councillor for Finance at the next plenary session to explain and discuss its political management and the results obtained since May 2007.
It was also agreed unanimously by all corporate motions submitted by the Municipal Socialist Group to promote a Campaign to Prevent unwanted pregnancies and STDs among adolescents and other investments on Regional Government to encourage public works and job creation.
