Over 150 people participated last December in the meeting-together "family stewardship a challenge to reach" that took place at the local Social Promotion of Public Housing "El Parral".
In this activity organized by the Department of Women and Equal Opportunities and the Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle" conducted several workshops related to family responsibility and questionnaires on the reconciliation of work aimed at parents and children.
Also during the meeting the Department presented the 2009 calendars that list the drawings made by children winners educotecas activities in the city.
They collected their awards during the celebration of the coexistence that consisted of a Harry Potter book, a dictionary of secondary and high schools, a solar system game and a double case.
The winners on this occasion were: Alberto Marin Lopez, 10 years of the Edutec Alvagón which produced the picture with the slogan "Men and women have equal rights" Diego López Periago of 10 years with Colorines Edutec drawing "If we work is completed faster family" Fernando J. Ortiz Ortiz, 8 years of Edutec Alvagón, Tania Victoria Soriano, 10 years Edutec Colorines with drawing "Everyone can do the same" Chico Dafne Moles, age 11 to the Puzzle Edutec drawing "Women and men have equal rights" Enma Gildea, 10 of the drawing Colorines Edutec "If I can, you can" and Garcia Veronica Mulero , 9 years with the drawing Colorines Edutec "Everyone we work at home."
These activities, framed in the II Plan for Equal Opportunities Totana have been carried out with support from the Directorate General of Family and Minors of the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Migration in the Region of Murcia, has been completed with the launch of an awareness campaign that has had the aim to raise awareness of Totana on the need to strengthen the responsibility of women and men in the home, promoting a fair distribution that enables the reconciliation of family life personal and professional development, avoiding double shifts working normally borne by women.
With all these actions, as reported by the Department of Women and Equal Opportunities, have been completed with very successful program and with the reflection that we must continue to educate on par with the aim of promoting social responsibility household and family responsibilities.
