The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo has asked the president of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS), José Salvador Fuentes Zorita, the appropriate body to cleaning and subsequent maintenance of both the dam and the river Butte Guadalentín passing through the town.
This demand, which has been transferred to the institution through a letter, is derived from the petition of the residents and owners of plots and houses adjoining the river, since a long time that has not been used to clean the pot and prey and remain so, it could cause problems in the area.
For this situation to be settled as soon as possible, the City Council are working for the CHS, the competent authority, proceed to clean the river as soon as possible.
