The Department of Social Welfare of the City of Totana urge the House to be held on Tuesday at the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration comprehensive programs to promote local action to enable the development of these measures and support ore people with custodial sentences in the enforcement of penalties in the process of social inclusion preventing the commission of further crimes.
To this end, the Department will transfer to the Community the experience developed by the city of Totana in the intervention program with offenders in an open environment.
In 2008 the City Council of Totana has supported the successful implementation of a total of 34 judicial measures work for the benefit of the community and 12 individuals who have attended the course of psychosocial rehabilitation for perpetrators of gender violence.
In addition, a total of 17 people who have completed their stay judicial incorporated into one or more municipal social programs.
Also, the Consistory also been supporting Socio Intervention Teams carrying out the execution of juvenile court action and depend on the Autonomous Community of Murcia Region through the provision of municipal services and resources where you can develop.
The experience developed by the Department, as reported by the same, has been ranked very successful in several areas.
The Consistory totanero was invited to present the project that serves as a model example in the Third Conference "Crime and Society" organized by the Asturian Institute of Public Administration.
