This workshop, organized by the Association of the Deaf "The Unicorn" in Totana has received the grant from the Department of Citizen Participation, a year has worked with the organization of this workshop to the results and the great success that had the Last year this activity, explained Carrión Tudela, in turn, made a commitment to do everything possible to ensure continuity in these courses, with the demand of participants.
This training initiative, the mayor explained, "is another activity within the course of action that is taking place from the Department of Citizen Participation in the field of disability, aimed at achieving the integration of the group deaf people and their participation in social life of our town. "
The workshop "Sign Language" was developed during the months of September, October, November and December in the new offices of the Department of Citizenship and the Puzzle Edutec del Parral, where the free course.
This workshop, which was taught by Lucia Tudela, a member of the Association of the Deaf "The Unicorn" de Totana, has been focused mainly on learning the basics of sign language.
The president of the Association, Agustina Red, once again thanked the assistance given by the municipality totanero in the organization of such training activities.
For its part, the mayor congratulated all participants and encouraged the association to continue working on the same line.
