Municipal authorities shall on Thursday August 21 at the opening of the first phase of the construction of public lighting in a stretch of road Virgen de la Paloma ", coinciding at ten in the evening with the opening of the festival of La Paloma, be held this year between 21 and 24 August.
Work to install street lighting, which was awarded by an amount of 14,876.30 euros, consisted in placing a total of 12 lighting points in a half-mile length, with a good distribution of the lights on roadway.
In addition, the Local Government Board, at its last meeting, has given the green light to the drafting of the second phase of public lighting in this way as well as the extension of existing transformers.
This is a work that comes in response to requests for services and infrastructure of the locals, most of them with many second homes, and will contribute to improving safety and quality of life for residents .
