The March in Support of Victims of Domestic Violence was held on Sunday, March 22, (10:00 hours) along the main streets of the town and part from the Plaza of the Constitution, according to sources remind the Department of Equality.
This activity is part of the program of activities held in Totana during the remainder of November to commemorate the International Day against sexist violence, which is celebrated on November 25;
and it has promoted the Council for Equal Opportunities of Totana for this year.
There will also be a special tribute to those killed during this bibs for identification.
The program brings together numerous activities, some of which have already taken place, such as the placement of lilac with white ribbon banner on the balcony of the main facade of the City of Totana, which will remain for the entire month of November ;
lighting or the color of this same infrastructure.
Also during these days will take place sessions awareness and prevention of gender violence in the educational and associative area of the municipality of Totana, according to the mayor.
