The Full Council of Totana addressed in the corresponding month of September this meeting (Tuesday, 29; 19:00) a broad agenda with 24 points, among which stands out the motions of the Department of Social Welfare and Immigration to show institutional support to the Saharawi people and the joint of the departments of Education and Consumer Affairs to ask the government to a fixed price for textbooks and support to small businesses and bookstores in this town is set.
In education, the motion of the Socialist Group will also be discussed in relation to the conflict in the clinical practice of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia.
Winning the motion of Totana IU on agreement to apply the Law of Historical Memory eliminating namespace and roads that extol to people linked to the dictatorship and repression of fundamental rights it will also be discussed.
The Municipal People's Party has filed several motions to this session to request a financial economic study (audit) for the current economic situation of the City and it is performed internally by the municipal services Intervention and municipal officers;
and another proposal to defend the rule of law and the Cohesion Spain.
The PP has raised other motions to apply to stay for the next two years 50% reduction rate of the terraces as a measure to help hoteliers in Totana, work on the application of National Tourist Interest in Holy Week Totana and urge the mayor to order the drafters of the General Plan to urgently undertake the work requested in the report of July 29, 2015.
