Al Illustrious Cabildo Processions Superior Totana.- Open Letter from Jose Garcia Balsas

Source:

A few days ago I read the statements of Mayor Juan Jose Canovas on our Easter monument at the roundabout known as the Kabuki.

I drew two conclusions, the first that can not be performed over a long period of time because of its high cost (130,000 Euros) and the second a clear criticism of electioneering and irresponsible behavior of the previous government team.

At no point in its criticism statements he discernible Cabildo Processions assuming that with the exception of the monument in question, relations with the municipal institution Cabildo still based on mutual respect and collaboration.

Mr. Mayor explained the critical situation of the municipal coffers, gaps that these people suffer as a result of the financial meltdown that has led the PP and his twelve years of continuous government of their intention to attend the first and explained that it was first for him, period.

So when I read the news about the Cabildo Processions of Totana , what I perceived as an all-out attack on the waterline of the new administration and particularly against its chief representative, mayor of Totana, to Once clear, though underground support the PP, but I say it is a perception and as such can be wrong.

I know the integrity and ability of people who are either part of the council or have a recognized influence in it, so I do not understand this, in my opinion, unfortunate statement.

I can only imagine what will happen when differences arise or things do not go in the direction you want the Cabildo.

I would have expected, in any case, a statement based on a civic solidarity with the plight of manifest insolvency suffering, liberating the city of Totana of any commitment that economically impossible to undertake, redoubling their efforts in promoting the Christian faith and solidarity among all, above and apart from Pharaonic symbols.

In my mind, there is no arguing with the council or anyone else, but I think it would be good to keep things in perspective, anyone forget Article 16 of our Constitution, which among other things it is said that no religion shall have a state character.

I do not dispute the arguments of the Cabildo on participation or signaling plenary of unanimous agreement.

If anything, suggest a little self-criticism, because not all totaneros / as live Holy Week according to the council and its guidelines, or Holy Week is only made official by the council which brings benefits to such an important sector as the hospitality in our town and full agreement can not be maintained at all costs against reason and common sense.

As a citizen, I wish that relations between the City of Totana e Illustrious Superior Cabildo Processions are always developed, as I said, in the field of respect and collaboration, without Primara the electoral greed of one or hoarding privileges other , because basically this would be the delusions and the desire for leadership of mediocre managers who would be misusing public money, the money of all.

BALSAS JOSE GARCIA
