Some 550 young people attended the last Friday and Saturday at the Party for Consoles and Computers "Compete and Share" held in the Reading Room "Munuera and Abbey" in the afternoon.
This activity was organized for the second consecutive year and was an alternative leisure activity, using as main axis of the video games in different platforms (consoles, computers and wireless networks).
In this Lan Party tournaments, championships, free play, lectures, prizes and giveaways for participants held;
and has enjoyed the cooperation of the Youth Council.
The mayor of Youth, Bartholomew Pallares, has -highlighted the great success of this event among young people, with the main objective to promote alternative leisure through videogames as well as training and employability options in the area for young people Totana.
Pallares stressed that in this year has exceeded the number of participants last year.
The Reading Room "Munuera and Abbey" was divided into two clearly identified areas.
One of them was holding the competition Mini Campus Party;
and another in which young people can participate all those who wished to play freely to all types of games.
Fifa championships, Teken, Rock bank, Tennis, motion sensors, Call of Duty, Lips (Karaoke), etc. were organized.
The initiative was promoted by the Association "Gamer Youngs" of Totana, which was formed last year and has partners of young people between 16 and 18 years.
