Totana City Council, through the Department of Youth and Citizenship, participation has expanded university volunteer for the next academic year in sociocultural revitalization activities in the town of Totana.
This expansion will be done thanks to the success of Educational Support Project, in which volunteers work together as college students, through an agreement between the City Council and the University of Murcia (Service to Diversity and Volunteer) and having interest identified by students in the municipality in collaboration initiatives and other related socio-cultural environment and activities.
From these councils has designed a project to enable the participation of University volunteer sociocultural revitalization activities that have been conducted in different cultural and social spaces of the municipality during the year and promoted by various Councils of the City of Totana.
According to the Councillor for Youth Bartholomew Pallares, draft voluntary participation in the Sociocultural Area aims to facilitate and promote volunteer activities for youth to strengthen solidarity and social commitment as citizens.
So this initiative, as indicated Pallares, students will carry out volunteer projects and related social, educational, cultural, leisure and tourism sector activities.
The project is scheduled to begin during the month of October, after the incorporation of students to the University of Murcia.
