The deputy Pedro Sánchez Madrid yesterday was Sunday elected general secretary of the Socialist Party with 48.6% of the vote, compared to 36.19% of the Basque Eduardo Madina and 15.12% of the representative of the Socialist Left, José Antonio Pérez Tapias in a consultation which involved 65.8% of the militants.
Madina, Sanchez has been imposed in clustering Totana, with a 70% of the membership.
In that group were called to the polls Totana 127 militants, of which 40 (44.94%) gave their support to Eduardo Madina, 31 (34.83%) to Pedro Sanchez and 18 (20.22%) to Jose Antonio Perez Tapias.
