The Local Government Board has approved the membership of the City of Totana Regional Plan Against Irregular Economy by signing a cooperation agreement with the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
The Plan against Irregular Economy of the Region of Murcia was launched on July 31, 2012 and agreed by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia, and the Ministry of Employment and Social Security .
This plan responds to the provisions of the Framework Agreement for Economic Growth and Job Creation in the Region of Murcia, signed by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the CROEM and majority unions UGT and CCOO.
It is, in short, to make the necessary efforts to prevent and, as far as possible, avoid illegal behavior to circumvent the obligations in terms of contribution to the maintenance of the social welfare state .
The fight against irregular economy is therefore one of the priorities of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and the town of Totana they consider necessary to advance the exchange of information to assist in making it more effective.
Totana City Council will work with the Ministry responsible for working in the processing and review of information on economic and professional activities are in progress or may be engaged in this municipality.
