The National Statistics Institute (INE) has informed the City Council that this municipality Totana officially has 30,549 inhabitants, of which 9,474 are foreign, representing 31.2% of total municipal census.

According to sources from the Department of Internal Affairs, of these, Ecuadorian citizens are the most numerous (4,014), followed by Bolivia (2-201) and Morocco (1,250).
