Students Compensatory Education Program "Occupational Classroom" Totana have participated in a talk about road safety education, taught by local police officers of the municipality with the aim of educating young people about the risks of trafficking, the need for compliance with standards and the use of security features to prevent accidents.
In this sense, the agents have informed the students about pedestrian road rules in both city and highway driving, the basic rules of the moped, in urban and interurban roads, how to act in case of accident (PAS rule, CPR, bleeding and burns, some friendly, etc.).
It also has evaluated the consequences of alcohol and its effects at the wheel (causes of drinking and driving, which depends on the rate of alcohol, legal, conducting alcohol tests and administrative offense and punishment)
Besides these driver education talks, occupational classroom students have participated in the first quarter of the year in other activities such as have been a Youth Resource Workshop.
Two youth work sessions have been able to identify the resources they can access in their day to day and allow them significantly greater development and social integration.
They have also attended a Workshop Environment on waste recycling in Totana.
The general contents that were addressed in this workshop are: basics of waste recycling, environmental and socioeconomic benefits, importance of the involvement of citizens, separate collection at the municipal level, survey participation and contributions to improving the management of waste collection in Totana.
These workshops have been conducted by technical personnel of the City of Totana.
