The candidate for mayor by the PP, María Isabel Sánchez Ruiz, along with other members of the CP nomination yesterday met with women who make up the five municipal associations to show their commitment with actions that can be carried out in the municipality in terms of equality.
Sánchez Ruíz, as politician, promised to work hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder, together with municipal associations, as they are the alma mater of many of the actions carried out on equal opportunities.
At the meeting, indicated that they will continue to drive, with the help of the Autonomous Community of equality policies in the city of Totana counting on the involvement of all Councillors and the association of the municipality, especially women.
Also, the work will get a preventive culture of gender violence as a means to eradicate it, by making information and awareness campaigns on the need to share the responsibilities of family and professional life.
It will work, as said, to encourage and promote women's active participation in associations as a need to develop socially and personally, and to encourage companies Totana working on reconciling work and family life.
