The Department of Citizenship has opened a new space for use by municipal associations in a wing of the former IES "Juan de la Cierva", on Avenida de Lorca, to improve the attention given the social fabric of Totana.
The departments of Citizenship and City Services have been built the old hall of the center and made it in ten offices and a multipurpose room for use by associations, whose works have amounted to 30,000 euros.
According to sources from the Department of Citizen Participation, eight of these ten firms are already being used by different associations, on request, so that as of today there are two offices that can be ordered free for the enjoyment of associations in the Department of Citizen Participation.
This new area has allowed associations to rehabilitate a significant area that was in disuse of the old school and increase the supply of new spaces that will improve the care and development activities and projects developed by groups.
Shipments of this new zone is being used by associative Welcomes Murcia, FAE Association Totana, Totana ATB Association, Native Women's Association of Canar (Ecuador), The Candle, the Federation of Tae Kwon Do in the Region of Murcia, ERDF and D ' Genes.
