The Councillors for the Family and Social Welfare submitted a motion to the full City Council to be held on Thursday 25 November, to urge the National Government to the adoption of a comprehensive law for the protection and family support that mainstream familiar to all public policy.

The protection of the family as an institution, as stated in the mayor, public policy requires a family perspective to overcome and improve the design and residual sectoral support measures set out today and enjoy the family as a whole basis of fair and proportionate criteria of income and social reality rather than to particular aspects of family composition and employment.
