In this proposal, the Socialists urge the Regional Government, together with the municipalities of the 45 municipalities of the Region, to develop a dissemination plan on photovoltaic technologies in which it includes information on financing, subsidies and tax deductions, manufacturing companies, marketers and installers, as well as NGOs and public organizations where detailed information on specific projects can be obtained.
On the other hand, the PSOE urges the Regional Government to develop a road map with quantified and evaluable objectives that contain regulatory tools that allow progress in the different forms of self-consumption with net balance, as well as increase tax deductions to small producers of photovoltaic energy for self-consumption of electricity.
For its part, the City of Totana will study whether, in its tax ordinances, it is viable that small producers of photovoltaic energy (up to 10 KW) for self-consumption in their homes and SMEs, obtain a bonus on the Real Estate Tax, at the same time that will study the possibility of partial bonus of the ICIO of the installation of these energy production systems.
The socialists point out that saving and energy efficiency must be one of the basic axes on which to structure a policy aimed at consolidating a competitive energy model, fundamental for the development of our companies and the income of households.
The immediate application of energy efficiency measures would in turn make the reduction of public and private spending compatible with the generation of new business models and employment niches that help build a future of solid, responsible and sustainable growth.
In fact, since 2013 there has been no investment in new renewable energy facilities, which foresees that the increases in demand will lead to a greater use of polluting sources, increasing emissions and aggravating climate change.
The Government's policy on this matter is disappointing, as is its lack of sensitivity to environmental problems and they say that we are going to pay for it among all.
