The Department of Sports reports that the schools of Santa Eulalia and Juan de la Cierva de Totana were proclaimed regional champions in the Final Table Tennis School Sports held in Lorca.
Last Saturday February 4 took place in Lorca the Regional Tennis Table School Sports Final, organized by the General Sports Department of the Region of Murcia, where it is noteworthy that the schools of Santa Eulalia and Juan de la Cierva Were proclaimed regional champions in the fry and juvenile categories respectively.
The women's teams of Juan de la Cierva and Benjamín de la Colegio Santiago also obtained excellent results, which also managed to get on the podium, with the second and third position respectively.
In the benjamin category, the Colegio Santiago team, formed by Guillermo Aledo Morales, Isaac Gonzalez Andreo, Jaime Cánovas Crespo and Joel Espejo Moro, won the third place after reaching the semi-finals and losing with the Our Lady of Fatima School (Molina de Segura).
On the other hand, in the category alevin, the team of Santa Eulalia School, formed by Gabriel Sánchez, Juan Pedro Rubio and Nicolas Valenzuela, obtained the first position after defeating in the end the School San Francisco de Asis (Lorca).
In the women's category, IES team Juan de la Cierva, formed by Marianela Fernández Hernández and Noelia Moreno Martínez, won second place in the final against IES Los Albares (Cieza).
Finally, Juan de la Cierva's IES youth team, formed by Domingo Méndez García, Juan Pedro Sánchez Torres, Samuel Martínez Sánchez and Santiago Méndez García, won the first place after winning the IES Sierra de Carrasco and El Palmar (Murcia).
