The Department of Culture, through the municipal library "Mateo Garcia", has organized the third edition of the short story competition "Morerica Galán", in which students from 4th, 5th and 6th grade Primary Education, And 1 ° and 2 ° of ESO of the teaching centers of this municipality.
This edition has also included poetry, and the topic on which the works will be "Self-esteem."
The rules of the competition may be collected in the educational centers, by e-mail or in person at the municipal library.
The works will have an extension of a maximum of three folios in the modality of story, and 10 verses minimum and 30 maximum if the students opt for the poetry.
The works will be presented in the municipal library "Mateo García", located in the cultural center "La Cárcel", in a large envelope without putting the name of the author.
Within the envelope containing the work, will be included another smaller envelope closed with the data of the contestant: name and surnames, age, telephone, course and educational center.
It is set as delivery deadline on Friday, March 31, 2017.
After the deadline, the jury, composed of the author of children's books Morerica Galán, library staff, a culture technician and by the councilor of culture or person to whom he delegates, will evaluate the work and will decide the three winners.
In addition, it is reported that there will be three prizes for primary and three prizes for secondary.
Prizes will consist of school material bonuses.
The prizes will be awarded coinciding with the activities organized on the occasion of the day of the book.
