The Local Government Board has recently approved the cooperation agreement between the Autonomous Region of Murcia, through the Murciano Institute of Social Action, and the City of Totana for the Service home help for dependent people in this municipality.

Under the agreement will be beneficiaries of the Service home help those who have recognized a situation of dependence on protectable degree and the right to service home help, by order of recognition of the right of access to such services as provided in your Individual Care Programme.
The total cost of this agreement including in such amount the contribution corresponding to the user under the rules of co-payment, during the period from the date September 1, 2016 and November 30, 2017, amounts to a maximum of 153,870 euros .
To determine the cost, taking into consideration the reference price Service home help for people in situations of dependency which is set at 14 euros / hour for services related to personal care and 9 euros / hour for services related to the care of domestic or household needs.
The contribution of the IMAS will 23,695.98 euros for 2016 and 94,783.92 euros for the remaining time of the agreement.
In addition, the Council may now open a bidding period to outsource the management of home help service.
