Technical Advisory Service User of Municipal Services City of Totana have given several briefings regarding consumption to students of IES "Prado Mayor" of the town.

The recipients were three groups of students in the third year of ESO and a group of diversification;

which they took place on the 18 and 24 April and also had the assistance of tutors of different courses.

In the talks the students have been able to approach concepts in terms of consumption, as consumer society, consumerism and responsible consumption;

and learn procedures for interpreting food labeling, textile and energy.

the social consequences of acts of consumption based on the conditions of production of goods in Third World countries, wastage and fish caught at sea are thrown before reaching port fishing were also discussed, timber certification, the sustainable and organic farming.

In addition, other general matters as pollution of seas by plastic waste, waste from electronic equipment and the convenience of phone recycling, advertising, child labor and fair trade were discussed, among others.
