The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia, in collaboration with the local police in Totana, has developed the operation 'GOYMI', in order to pursue drug trafficking, which has led to the arrest of two people and the disarticulation a point of selling drugs in the city that bought stolen objects in their transactions.

Last fall, the Civil Guard began operation in order to clarify an alleged crime of drug trafficking in Totana, in which a group of people could be manipulating and distributing this type of illicit substances in a house in the town.

The first inquiries allowed agents to locate the property and identify people who might be behind criminal activity, so that a comprehensive surveillance and monitoring device on housing and suspects began.

The device helped to confirm that housing under investigation received countless visits, both small distributors as usual consumers throughout the region, to acquire different types of drugs, such as cocaine, heroin, hashish and marijuana.

It was also detected that buyers came to the house loaded with all kinds of objects.

The now detained for the development of criminal activity, availed themselves of heightened security measures, for it had shielded the entrances to the building and had installed surveillance cameras, hampering the work of researchers.

Once obtained all necessary evidence and prior judicial authorization, the Civil Guard, in collaboration with the local police in Totana, it has made the entry and search of the home where they have seized 560 grams of hashish pollen, 15 grams of marijuana, 5 grams of cocaine of high purity and 7 grams of heroin, as well as numerous useful related to drug trafficking, like four precision scales, material handling cocaine and preparation of doses, and 1,800 euros in legal tender notes.

In addition to the drug and the tools associated with this, the researchers found inside the housing numerous objects of alleged illicit origin, such as laptops (2), several mobile phones, drills (5), a tablet, stereos, a television, a multimedia hard drive a modified weapon, a camera, accessories and audiovisual material among others, apparently acquired by the now arrested in exchange for the distributed drug, which came from assaults in homes Totana and Mazarrón, and its purpose was marketing on the illicit market.

After registration, investigators have arrested two suspects, suspected of crimes against public health and abetting drug trafficking acquisition of stolen objects, and have returned most of the recovered objects to their rightful owners.

One detainee has admitted in custody

The Spaniards arrested, 44 and 51 years, residents of Totana and numerous precedents for similar offenses, drugs and the effects seized and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 1 of Totana (Murcia), who he has decreed income in custody of one of the detainees.
