The Department of Sports reports that last Saturday was held on February 13 in Los Alcázares the Regional Final Chess School Sports, organized by the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia, where nine schools participated totaneros belonging to centers teaching La Milagrosa, Regional, Tierno Galvan Luis Perez Rueda and Juan de la Cierva.
It should also be noted in the "Open" the second-place finish achieved by the team of IES Juan de la Cierva, formed by Juan Jose Vera, Cindy Ceron, Alejandro and Juan Francisco Cayuela Belchí.
In the individual category, also he stressed Juan José Vera (Juan de la Cierva), who managed to get on the podium in the Open category, particularly in third.
Youngsters in the category, the best students were classified Francisco Asensio Roman (Regional), who finished in 8th place;
Trinidad Ceron (La Milagrosa) in 9th place;
and Carmen Garcia (Tierno Galván) in 10th place.
The competition concluded with the presentation of trophies and medals to the top three finishers in each category, by the municipal and regional authorities.
