The Local Government Board has recently awarded the Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil" the contract for the development of the "Making Community" program for a total amount of 27,889.37 euros.The contract for this service began its processing last July through a simplified open procedure with various award criteria.This process has been developed in view of the need for the Department of Social Welfare to hire this service, which considers as a target population the gypsy community of the municipality of Totana that is in a special situation of difficulty, risk or social exclusion, from an integrative and globalizing.The program will complement the intervention carried out by the Center for Social Services and aims to offer this population a more comprehensive social care, covering needs from their own involvement and leadership.
