On the second weekend of January, the Totana Roller Hockey team played three official matches of the Valencian Community Skate League league: they won two wins and one defeat
The Benjamines of the Totana Hockey Club, played during the second weekend of January three official meetings of the FPCV-HP League - Benjamin, of the Valencian Federation, since the Region of Murcia does not have official competition in this sports discipline.
The mixed team had nine players for this call: Javier, Ãlvaro, Isabel María, José Miguel, Javi, Alberto, Daniel and Mario.
Carlos, assistant coach, joined the squad.
The totanera expedition moved to the Alicante town of San Vicente del Raspeig, in whose Sports City the three meetings were held against the three Benjamines teams of the town.
The matches were resolved with a positive balance for the totanero team, winning the first two (CPP Raspeig A 3 - CPH Totana 5, CPP Raspeig B 6 - CPH Totana 8) and losing the last of the matches (CPP Raspeig C 5 - CPH Totana 3), in which the quarry benjamín totanera accused the fatigue by having to face three consecutive games with the same squad.
At the end of the day Alain Martínez, totanero coach, was very happy with the performance and attitude of his players, but also with the sportsmanship and companionship between players and clubs.
On the other hand, the relatives of the players accompanied from the stands, transmitting their support to the players, who are gaining skill and ability as the competition progresses.
From the Club they emphasize the important work of the rest of the members of the Club, of upper and lower categories, who train weekly and collaborate in the improvement of the competing players and in the implantation of this sport discipline.
The Club invites all children interested in Roller Hockey to go through the Sports Pavilion “Manolo Ibáñez†on Mondays (from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.) and Thursdays from (4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.), to learn more about this elegant and fast sport.
Finally, the Totana Skates Hockey Club thanks the Department of Sports of the City of Totana for the transfer of training facilities;
at the same time they request with due respect, that the Municipal Corporation plans for the current fiscal year 2020, the technical and economic actions, in a coordinated manner with the club, to achieve a sports track with fences for the practice of Roller Hockey, which can benefit to all those children and young people who practice it today and in the future.
