The Local Government Board has recently approved to sign a collaboration agreement with the Association of Neighbors El Paretón-Cantareros to resume the realization of the Order of the Magi on January 6, 2020 to cover part of the expenses, amounting to 1,500 Euros
The agreement will be signed shortly by the mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and by the representative of the Neighborhood Association, Brenda Andreo Crespo, to assist in technical and material support;
so that, as consideration, this entity undertakes to organize the Auto Reyes Magos.
The proposal considers this citizen initiative to be of cultural interest, in the case of a popular and religious theatrical representation based on a manuscript that dates back to the 18th century and, therefore, constitutes an outstanding manifestation of the traditional and folkloric heritage of Totana, aimed at the preservation of Cultural traditions and historical heritage of the municipality.
