When Christmas is focused, we cannot help but place ourselves in everything that the families, children and adolescents that we accompany from the CaixaPronfancia project have experienced, whose objective is to fight against economic poverty and social vulnerability, promoting and supporting integral development and favoring policies of equity, social cohesion and equal opportunities.
This work with minors and their families has been seen more necessary than ever in the current context caused by the pandemic.
C ritas, Copedeco and Plena Inclusi n, in collaboration with CaixaBank through their CaixaProInfancia project, focus their efforts on the social promotion of children and young people in the districts of Sangonera la Verde, Sangonera la Seca, Patiño and Aljucer.
Since the beginning of the school year, this social project has promoted the development of educational reinforcement services, inclusive and healthy leisure, psychotherapy and social support for families, in order to prevent the social crisis accelerated by the pandemic from leading them to a increased vulnerability or exclusion.
The follow-up of protocols and safety and hygiene measures has allowed the development of special activities on the occasion of the Christmas holidays, closing an intense year marked by strict confinement and subsequent social distancing that has caused emotional repercussions in children and adolescents.
