Borrego: "The PSOE and Podemos have rejected all the amendments of the PP for the Region of Murcia that suppose an investment increase of 240 million and we are not going to allow it to be marketed with the welfare of Murcians"The deputy has assured that "from the PP we are going to continue lowering taxes, we are not going to allow the Sánchez pacts to harm the Region of Murcia"Martínez Oliva regrets that the "PSOE always puts on the jacket that suits him: while in Congress they agree to raise taxes, in the city they ask us to lower taxes, despite having lowered and frozen them since 2013"The national deputy, Isabel Borrego, has asked the deputies of the Region to "defend their Murcia and stand up to Pedro Sánchez" and bet on the incorporation of 32 million into the General State Budgets for strategic investments in the city of Murcia that "they are vital, realistic and sensible because we have established the corresponding losses to the projects so that they can be carried out".Borrego has said that the PP has done a commendable job "in accordance with the situation the country is experiencing, but the PSOE and Podemos have vetoed and blocked all the amendments that the PP has presented and that represent an investment increase of 240 million in all the Region ", but" we still have a chance because the PP has registered a letter so that the amendments that have been rejected remain alive and will have to be voted on next week.

""The PSOE has marketed with the interests of the regions with the independentistas, something that harms the growth of the Region and the well-being of Murcia", has qualified Borrego, who has stressed that, in this way, "they want us to pay more taxes and that there are more investment difficulties for the Region, to the detriment of other autonomies ".

In this sense, he has said that "from the PP we are going to continue lowering taxes, we are not going to allow Sánchez's pacts to harm the Region of Murcia.""These amendments are what the city of Murcia needs and all that is to vote against is to say no to employment, economic activity and common welfare," stressed the parliamentarian, who in turn stressed that the "PSOE it has ignored the needs of the regional government and, in this case, of the Murcia City Council, and has said no to the provision of additional funds to cover the necessary services and for the distribution of the Recovery Fund ".Borrego has stressed that these initiatives are requested at the request of the mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, who has demanded greater involvement of the Government of Spain in important matters because they are urgent such as "the construction of the Tabala dam to prevent flooding in the city ??or the West collector of which they have not budgeted a single euro cent for this 2021 ".For his part, the councilor of the Popular Party in the Murcia City Council Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, has said that it is curious that the "PSOE puts on, at all times, the jacket that suits him", because while "the national PSOE pacts with ERC a tax harmonization against PP communities such as the Region of Murcia that lower taxes, in the city council they ask us to lower taxes, despite the fact that since 2013 we have not raised taxes and they have even been lowered ".The "popular" councilor has continued to warn that in the PGE "in particular for the municipality of Murcia, essential and strategic projects and investments are forgotten or poorly financed, so we need an effort that must be translated into aid, financing and funds to meet anticipated needs for infrastructure and projects ".AmendmentsMartínez Oliva explained that an amendment has been presented to finance the Enhancement of the San Esteban Field.

This project has a total planned investment of 8,140,000 euros and for this year 2021 only 620,000 is budgeted, so we have requested the entire project for this year.

"It is a real need to recover this space for citizens and enhance the value of the city as a cultural reference," said the popular councilor. In addition, he explained that 2.5 million has been requested for the connection of the third lane of the A-7 Monteagudo-Fortuna.

This multi-year project has a financing of € 500,000 and a projection to 2022 of 7.9 million, so it is requested the advance to the year 2021 of the financing of this project to speed up its implementation.Likewise, the section corresponding to the Northwest Arc is amended, a highly demanded project that will remove 20% of the traffic from the section with the highest circulation of the state network in the Region.

Thus, an advance of almost 10 million euros is requested to speed up its completion. In another order, the mayor has stressed that the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, is requested to include in the Budget the item corresponding to carrying out the actions to build the Tabala dam, with an initial amount of 3 millions of euros.

This infrastructure was already planned by the Hydrographic Confederation since 1996 and this year the panel of experts for the prevention of floods in the Region of Murcia has included it as an essential solution to avoid floods in the area of ??the municipality of Alquerías, El Raal, Zeneta next to the municipality of Beniel.Likewise, it is required the incorporation into the Budget of the item corresponding to the construction of the West Perimeter Interceptor Collector of the municipality of Murcia, whose amount for the year 2021 should amount to 15 million, with the estimated amount of this basic infrastructure of 93,585,956 euros .Finally, Martínez Oliva explained that an additional 1.5 has been requested to recover the Monteagudo Historical Site to continue advancing in the comprehensive recovery of the environment that integrates the Cabezo de Torres Castle, Larache and Castillejo.
