| CROEM, UGT and CCOO resume social dialogue in the Region of Murcia | The president of CROEM, José Mª Albarracín, and the general secretaries of the majority unions, Antonio Jiménez and Santiago Navarro, respectively, valued with satisfaction in a meeting held at the confederation headquarters the principle of agreement reached at the Social Dialogue table on the Law that will regulate remote work.Employers and unions consider that teleworking is a way of organizing time and resources that is increasingly used by companies.
The objective is to regulate it following ordered criteria that allow progress in this modality, once the exceptionality of the pandemic is overcome. In fact, the preliminary agreement, which has been reached after months of joint work by the Government, businessmen and unions, must now serve, according to Albarracín, Jiménez and Navarro, to develop the law through collective bargaining and analyze its adaptation to each sector of activity. The three also stressed the importance of social dialogue and their willingness to reach agreements that promote key issues such as the continuity of the Regional Strategy for Quality Employment in the period 2021-2024.The social agents also set October 9 as the date for signing the Third Agreement on Extrajudicial Settlement of Labor Disputes (ASECMUR).
