The Ministry of Transparency, Participation and Public Administration is in contact with 49 other Murcians who remain in different countries and remembers that there is a form to join the registration prepared on the Transparency Portal

The first steps taken by the regional government in matters of Foreign Action have paid off with the return of seven young Murcians in the last hours to their localities of origin.

These are workers who remained blocked by the health crisis in Bolivia, Honduras and Australia.

Specifically, a young man from the Andean country, two others from Honduras and four who have landed in the last hours from the country of the oceanic continent.

All of them were traveling or working in the countries they were in.

The General Directorate of Open Government and Cooperation maintains permanent contact with the group of Murcia, almost fifty, trapped in other countries by the situation of air transport blockade.

In all cases, efforts are being made to find solutions to the different cases that they pose by all means, and for this purpose, a registry with name, surname and contact telephone number has been created.

The Minister for Transparency, Participation and Public Administration, Beatriz Ballesteros, highlighted that “there is permanent communication with the Consular Emergency Division, under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation and with the Government Delegation in the Region to follow up on each one of the cases in countries like Argentina, Ukraine and Peru ”.

They have also joined, he explained, “several requests from young students who remain in countries of the European Union to which the blockade situation is also beginning to spread.

With all of us, we will try to rush all the possibilities that they can return to their homes immediately. ”

Online form in the Transparency Portal

The Community Transparency Portal enabled a specific section with public information of interest on the COVID-19 crisis, which contains the main measures of public interest adopted by the different departments of the regional government and a section on Foreign Action, where there is a web form to register in the registry.

In this portal information from the Ministry also appears, collected in a protocol that indicates the steps to follow in case of what to do if you are a resident in Spain and you are abroad, if it is necessary or not to return to Spain, how can the Embassy or Consulate and how you can contact the embassies and consulates of each country.

Indications are also given in case the flight to be taken has been canceled.
