The spokesman for the Socialist Parliamentary Group recalls that the last time the president met the spokesmen to give them information was on March 11.

"It takes 20 days without talking to parliamentary representatives about the situation or giving information"

The secretary general of the PSRM-PSOE and spokesman for the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Diego Conesa, has wondered where the president of the Community is and why he does not come forward to explain the evolution of the coronavirus in the Region and the measures adopted by the Government regional.

In this sense, he has described as "lack of respect and consideration for society" the absence of the president in the videoconference held with the spokesmen for the Assembly.

"The PSOE will maintain at all times its line of unity, loyalty and solidarity. We intend to convey to the president the demands and needs of different groups, with the sole intention of helping so that together we overcome the pandemic as soon as possible without leaving anyone behind" , has reiterated.

Diego Conesa has assured that "we have only seen López Miras appear in press conferences where decisions of the regional government are communicated, which hours later they have to revoke because they do not have competence for it. The correct thing would be to hold weekly meetings with parliamentary groups to explain the news and the measures adopted in the Region and that he listen to the proposals of the different formations ".

As for sanitary measures, the socialist leader has asked to know what material the regional government acquired before and after the decree of the state of alarm, and above all, if that material is already available to health personnel in hospitals, medical centers, health, senior and disabled centers, or when it will arrive.

In addition, it has been asked if the testing of coronavirus is being expedited for health workers and essential social services personnel so as not to have them blocked at home pending confirmation of results, since in some cases the delay exceeds six days. wait.

"It would also be advisable to immediately convert part-time contracts for the guards of health professionals into temporary full-time contracts for them, in all specialties deemed necessary to face the crisis, as well as the hiring of residents who complete their training period as specialist health practitioners, "he explained.

Diego Conesa has also asked to know when the Rosell hospital will be fully operational, and what measures are being taken to guarantee the safety of all health personnel, nursing homes and disabled people, civil protection and firefighters.

"It is also necessary to provide adequate protection equipment to all personnel who have to make home visits."

Regarding social issues, the socialist leader has asked to know what measures the regional government has adopted to reinforce home-based proximity services that guarantee the care, support and safety of elderly, disabled or dependent people, to compensate for the closure of canteens, day centers and other similar services.

In this sense, he recalled that the Government of Spain has allocated 9.2 million euros to finance basic benefits for the inhabitants of the Region, and one million to guarantee the basic right to food for children in vulnerable situations.

"We demand that they clarify how they are going to distribute this fund among the municipalities so that they can launch these projects."

It has also considered important to know what measures have been taken to reinforce the operation of home telecare devices;

reinforce the templates of social service centers, or guarantee the basic right to food for children in vulnerable situations, among other issues.

On the other hand, the socialist spokesman recalled that there are already more than 12,000 requests for ERTEs in the Region and that the processing is very slow.

"I ask that you give the corresponding instructions so that not a single worker affected by ERTE remains without receiving their unemployment benefit on April 10."

As for economic measures, he has asked the regional government to get to work on new regional budgets for social justice that leave no one behind, as well as a regional contingency plan to guarantee the restoration of economic activity, preserve the business fabric and employment, and guarantee the basic needs of families.

"The PSOE will be willing to collaborate with the regional government on the approval of regional budgets, taking into account that they have to speak to all parliamentary groups so that they respond to the new situation."

Finally, Diego Conesa has asked the López Miras Executive to inform the town councils about the measures that the Autonomous Community will take to face the multiple demands of their neighbors that they are facing.
