About one hundred people participated last Sunday, December 7, in traditional Popular March, an event organized by the Sports Department within the program of sporting events organized in the supervisory celebrations of Santa Eulalia.
The event was attended by the mayor, Isabel Maria Sanchez Ruiz, and the Councillor for Sports, Bartolomé Pérez Pallares.
The walk, led by Alfonso Adam, left at nine o'clock from the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, visiting different emblematic places and suburban areas of the town of Totana.
Thus, through the streets Puente Avenue Rambla de Santa towards the Bridge Ollerías, Arch of Ollerías, Cañico, Garden Muher costs, cross country road, water tank Rulo, narrow road known as Transvision Vamp, Camino Turret and to the Diversion, where in the Way of Mortolitos, the Department had prepared a provisioning based tangerines and water.
After the break, it was the road to the rear turret Huerto de La Cruz, Cruz district to the Mission where, after performing some stretching, was adjourned at 11:15 hours approximately.
The Sports Council appreciates the work provided in this event for Civil Protection and the Civil Guard and local police who watched over the safety of all participants.
