Magnificent news for totanero table tennis because Gabriel Sánchez has just been summoned by the Royal Spanish Table Tennis Federation to form part of the expedition that will represent Spain in the category young man at the Malacky Open that will take place in this city of Slovakia from 10 to 12 March.
The Malacky Open is the most important event of the ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) and is played in the categories Mini Cadet (12-13 years) and Mini Mini Cadet (10-11 years) male and female.
The totanero player who will turn eleven in March will do so in the smallest category.
The players summoned (two for each category, in total 8) will be concentrated in Malacky preparing the test from the 6 of March next to the three trainers of the RFETM that will accompany the expedition.
Gabriel was already being followed by the sporting direction of the Federation and the final accolade was his great performance in the State Tournament that took place last weekend in Valladolid where he was proclaimed champion and where he played an extraordinary final against the Burgos player Daniel Berzosa That next to the totanero will form the Spanish equipment in the category Mini Mini Cadet masculine.
