The Department of Women and Equal Opportunities has completed the implementation of storytelling for children about gender equality, targeting children from local schools for children.
This initiative has aimed to bring children the principle of equality between women and men, through a fun and entertaining storyteller who has tried to break social stereotypes and foster a culture based on the principle of equality.
This program, which falls in the area of culture, leisure and sports of the II Plan for Equal Opportunities between women and men of Totana, has taught in three local school children Clara Campoamor, Pepita and Doņa Carmen Barķ during the month of May, ending on Friday with a total attendance of 150 children, with a very positive assessment of activity and a large number of users.
