THE LOCAL MINISTER OF MARKETS HAS HANDED OVER THE KEYS TO THE TEN ELECTRICITY POINTS WHICH AVE BEEN INSTALLED FOR THE FOOD STALLS IN THE WEEKLY MARKET
The Local Minister of Markets, Isabel María Sánchez Ruiz, has handed over to the stallholders the keys for the ten electricity points which have been installed along the side of Avenida de la Rambla de La Santa for the food stalls in the weekly market.
The Local Minister showed her satisfaction as they are meeting the demands of the stallholders who asked for the installation of the electricity points to avoid having to use generators to run the fridges. The stallholders have thanked the municipal head for the effort she has made to install the said points.
This service will cover the more than ten food stalls, which provide salted and cured products and the cafe in the weekly market. Moreover, the new electricity points mean that the noise of the generators will no longer be a problem.
70 per cent of the total cost of the work was subsidised by the Regional Department of Commerce and Arts and Crafts for the Autonomous Community. In total the budget exceeds 42,448.27 euros, of which 29,713.79 will come from the subsidy and the rest from the Consistory.
