The trip, activities and outings programme, organised by the Municipal Centre for the Elderly, in Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, throughout the year is having a warm welcome with members, as has informed the Local Minister of Social Welfare, Juan Carrión Tudela.

Members of the Centre, recently went on a trip to Huelva and various outings are programmed shortly including a trip to Madrid, on 29th April, to visit the “Saber Vivir” programme, the Fábrica de la Moneda, the Naval Museum, the Santa Gema Church and the Prado.

Another of the programmed outings will be to the 'Feria del Caballo' in May from Saturday 9th May to Wednesday 13th where they will travel the area of Jerez, Cádiz, Pueblos Blancos, Chipiona, San Lúcar de Barrameda, Antequera and Puerto de Santa María. This outing includes a stay at a four star hotel and a buffet.

Also programmed is a shopping trip to Benidorm for Tuesday 5th May for 6 euros, where they will be able to enjoy a breakfast, buffet and entry to Mundomar –Costa Mágica Museum.

The centre also reminds members that it runs monthly outings to the spa at Archena to relax and enjoy a good day in the water.

All these outings are at very modest prices for members of the centre, and more information on them and other things is available from the Management Office of the centre, Monday to Friday from 10 to 12, on the First Floor of the Municipal Centre for the Elderly in Plaza de la Balsa Vieja.
