The Local Minister of Education, Trini Cayuela, has announced that the admission application form period for pupils in the three infants schools in the town for the next academic year 2009/2010 will remain open from Monday 23rd March to 30 April.

The application forms for the Infant Schools, aimed at children aged between 1 and 2 years old can be collected from the schools “Calara Campoamor”, “Doña Pepita López Gandía” and “Carmen Baró”, as well as the Town Hall and the Local Ministry of Education, in the Sociocultural Centre “La Cárcel”.

Application from smust be handed in before Thursday 30th April, to the Customer Service Area (S.A.C) of the Town Hall .

The provisional lists of the pupils in the infants schools will be published on 15th May, and parents can make any complaints or appeals until 25th May. The definitive lists will be published on 20th of the same month.

Applications admitted outside the established dates, according to the Local Minister, will remain outside the first selection process, passing automatically to the waiting list.

The Local Minister said that there are currently a total of 277 boys and girls who attend the three schools, 124 at “Clara Campoamor”, 93 at “Carmen Baró” and 60 at “Doña Pepita López Gandía”.
