The paving of the roads of Mazarron, the Ayes and Salas, contained in the Plan of Works and Services 2009 (POS) have been completed, as reported by the Councillor for Planning and Sustainable Development, María José Bedia,
The works, which have been carried out jointly by the departments of Planning and Sustainable Development and Roads, have had a budget of 272,069 euros.
On the one hand, works in the way of "Mazarrón" whose total budget amounts to 73,595 euros, which have been implemented by the local company "Casanova Brothers" have included the refurbishment of the firm, which will improve access to agricultural produce area, as well as second homes that are in place.
In total, 900 meters from the road remodeling.
Also, Ayes Road works, which have a length of 1,500 meters, and have been implemented by the local company "Brothers Casanova" for an amount of 126,533.26 euros, have been to extend the road width to 5 , 5 meters and the execution of a final layer consists of artificial zahorra to improve traffic conditions and road safety in the area.
Finally, the works of Chambers Road, where they have paved a total of 1,200 meters, extending the road width to 5 feet and to improve traffic conditions and road safety, have been executed by the company "Asphalt Pavement Lario , SL "award in the amount of 71,940.86 euros.
