The evening of Saturday 19 is held by the central streets of Totana the first edition of the Christmas Night Race "The Tenth" test organized by the Athletic Club of Totana, JC Peña pallets along with Real Madrid of Totana and still benefit Caritas Totana.
Although weather forecasts were not very favorable, in the end the rain made an appearance even if the intense cold during the entire test.
A little past 19h was kicked off the nearly 130 athletes who took the most central streets of the town, many of them dressed up, ready to hang out a lot of fun while practicing athletics.
The tour was a distance of 5 kilometers, having to take two laps totally urban.
After a closely fought first round, in the end the absolute triumph of the first edition of Cross Christmas "The Tenth" was to stop the athlete from Luis Miguel Torreglosa CALorca, which stopped the clock at 16:03.
Athletes followed Espapack-Eliocroca José Agustín Martínez, with a time of 16:09 and Jose Perez (16:23).
Regarding the overall female winner of the Cross first Christmas was the athlete of the JC Pallets Miriam Titz, which stopped the clock at 24:35.
After she arrived Pilar Hernandez (25:54) and marathon athlete Mari Paz Muñoz Cartagena (27:52).
All these received their trophy with a bottle of wine.
They also received trophies for the top three different age categories.
The awards ceremony was conducted by the Presidents of the Athletics Club and The Tenth José Peña Sergio Espejo and López, Councilman Joseph A. Sports
Valverde and Vice President of Real Madrid Federico Peña Zamarreño.
All participants received a commemorative technical shirt, courtesy of Rest, Restaurant and Alumar Amaro and a pepper pot of Murcia with designation of origin, along with a santa hat and other gifts that the organization could achieve.
There was also lots of gifts for your positions and bonds for the Spa Sensol, lots of sports equipment from companies such as Earth Bazaar, Bicisport A.
Martinez, Viator or tenths or units of the tenth Christmas Club.
Participants could also get your strength with a large chocolate Christmas cakes, courtesy of the Association of Amas de Casa de las Tres Ave Maria, Pastry El Sereno and Dulcesol and liquid refreshment courtesy of Céser Sánchez Insurance Brokerage and Coca Cola.
From the Club and Real Madrid of Totana Peña thanked all the business firms that have collaborated in testing and have made possible the realization of the first Christmas Cross and the Department of Sports City of Totana, Local Police, Protection Civil sports volunteers, Red Cross and Rock Nine and all the friends who were working all day for this first edition of Cross Christmas Night "The Tenth" was a success.
Regarding revenue performance with both the contributions of the participants and the partner companies, designed to Caritas Totana, will be delivered on Wednesday December 23 at the Plenary Hall of the Ayuntamiento de Totana, from 12 o'clock in the morning.
