The Department of Alternative Energy advises of new grants which the Ministry of Universities and Research Company has released for the implementation and operation of sustainable energy management projects through facilities use of renewable energy resources in the area of photovoltaic solar isolated mixed wind, photovoltaic, solar thermal, biomass, biogas and biofuels.
Through publications in the BORM paths of 31 July and 1 August, the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research has approved the grants for facilities for the use of renewable energy resources to be made in 2009, being the beneficiaries of the same local government, private businesses, households and nonprofit institutions.
These grants, according to the type of installation and energy sector, can reach a maximum of 60% of the cost of installation.
The deadline for submission of applications for solar thermal installations areas, biomass, biogas and biofuels will be until 15 September and for the isolated and combined photovoltaic solar wind-photovoltaic, 15 October.
