The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the councilman of Culture, Ana Belén García, presented the awards Painting Competition IV Outside "Totana Corners" in a ceremony held at the Municipal Exhibition Hall "Gregorio Cebrián "and was attended by a large audience.
The first national award more prize money, 800 euros, sponsored by the city of Totana, went to the painter Miguel Mellado.
The second award, sponsored by the Ice Cream Parlor "The Ibense" and 500 euros, went to Christopher Perez, and third prize, sponsored by the Department of Tourism and Culture, was awarded to Francisco R.
Anton.
The local prize, worth 500 euros (provided by the Department of Culture) was awarded Red Victor Melgarejo.
The winning works were signed by the author on the front and became the property of the sponsors of the award, and other works on display may withdraw from the Exhibition Hall showing the receipt, from May 31 to June 12 in time from 18 hours to 21 hours, otherwise regarded as donated to the Department of Culture.
The jury, who thanked the council for their invaluable collaboration, was made by the Councillor for Culture, Pedro Cánovas Burgos, Juan Antonio Cortés Abellán, David López Ruiz and Miguel Angel Romero Canovas.
The Mayor of Totana, meanwhile, congratulated all the participants, the Councillor for Culture, to carry out such initiatives in the locality, and pleases CIO "priceless" collaboration of both jurors and the sponsor the Ice Cream Parlor "The Ibense" that "at this time of crisis" has collaborated with the prize of one of these awards, in order to promote this art form nationwide.
