Councilwoman Crafts, Isabel Maria Sanchez attended the General Assembly of the Spanish Association of Towns of Ceramics (AECC), held in La Galera (Tarragona), where he was elected Lumbreras Tirso Vázquez as president of this entity, which comprised of 33 municipalities and associations in Spain.
Tirso Lumbreras Vazquez is the council of Institutional Relations of the Municipality of Talavera de la Reina (Toledo), which happens in the chair at Ferran Armengol (City of Argentona, Barcelona), which has held the presidency of the association in its first year and means of subsistence.
The City of La Galera organized the conference, which coincided with the Ceramics Fair, which was a success in terms of participants and attendees, as noted by the mayor totanera.
The development of that day began at ten in the morning with the Executive Committee of the AECC and noon General Assembly took place in the AECC, where he addressed issues such as the President's report on actions taken since the last General Assembly, the Economic Report, the adoption of new shares of partners, information about the European project STARS (Interreg IVC) and the report of the Committee on Exhibitions.
Among the exhibits, the mayor said the virtual exhibition "The Ceramics of the peoples of Spain", which has already sent Totana documentation, providing the representative piece of pottery from Totana in connection with the holding of this General Assembly .
As for the permanent exhibition in Korea, traditional ceramics and modern Spanish, which soon will take place in the Korean city of Ulsan (Korea very industrial city of one million inhabitants in the Pacific Coast), members of the AECC agreed to participate in it, with shipment of a part of each member city of the Association, for which the city of Totana and has made the appropriate shipping representative piece of local pottery.
Also developed a report of the Committee on Trade, which was valued assistance to the International Fair of Contemporary Ceramics (FENCE), held 14 to May 17 in Zaragoza.
