The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, Councillor for Social Welfare, Juan Carrion, and the general director of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs Murciano Institute for Social Action (IMAS), Juan Castillo, have been delivered this morning's diploma course "Strategies of personal autonomy and social skills development and employment" in which 13 people have formed to promote their social and facilitate social and professional integration through learning social skills.

As reported by the mayor of Social Welfare, Juan Carrion, with this course, which has lasted three months with a 3.5-hour workday, has tried to increase the social competence of the people at risk of social exclusion that have significant weaknesses in the implementation of social skills.

Through this training, which has been developed by the company Habitat Cultural and supported by technicians to the Department of Social Welfare, has promoted the development, function and social integration in their environment.

The Director General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs Murciano Institute of Social Action, John Brown, explained that the Regional Government is implementing social inclusion policies that promote integration into society through the acquisition of social skills .

In this course, the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration, has spent over 20,000 euros to cover the costs of training and financial support that all students receive daily, 10 euros, by way of scholarship.

Castaño thanked the work done by the Department of Social Welfare, as with this type of training ensures that the collective processes of social inclusion acquire appropriate behavior patterns as simple as keeping a proper conversation with the partner, develop tasks home or lay the groundwork for a family.
