The Councillor for Education, Trini Cayuela, recalled that the deadline for students of three local nursery schools for the next academic year 2009/2010 ending.
The admission forms in infant schools, for children between 1 and 2, can be collected in any of the preschools "Clara Campoamor", "Doña Pepita López Gandía" and "Carmen Baró, as well as in Service Citizens Advice in the Consistory (SAC) and the Department of Education, located in the Socio-Cultural Center "Jail."
The deadline for applications is next Thursday 30 April, debiéndose deliver the request before the expiration of the date specified in the SAC.
The provisional lists of pupils in infant schools will be published on May 15, being able to file claims until 25 May and finally the final lists will be published on 5 June.
Applications submitted after the deadline, according to the mayor stressed, will be the first process of selection from waiting list automatically.
The council has reported that there are a total of 277 children attending three schools, with 124 attending the Infant School "Clara Campoamor" 93 in "Carmen Baró" and 60 attend the new school Child "Doña Pepita López Gandía.
