The theoretical part of the course for the Care and Dependent Care, launched from the Department of Public Works and Employment and supported by the Regional Service Training and Employment and co-financed by the European Social Fund, launched on 28 January has completed a total of 250 hours of training.
Six of the twelve people who run the course would be part of the period of practical implications of this course with a total of 60 hours per person to start soon.
The objectives of this course have worked with have been about developing the training and qualifications of the unemployed in the municipality in the specialty care and dependent care.
As reported by the Councillor for Employment, Trini Cayuela, this field is another means of joining the working world and through this course, students have met basic needs (health, social, emotional and educational) of the population groups likely to receive such specialist care for being in a situation of dependency.
Thus, as the mayor explained, recipients of the course have acquired theoretical and practical knowledge needed to work in the care of dependent people, mastering the strategies, skills and attitudes to perform that function independently and responsibly.
Moreover, from the Department of Public Works and Employment in the reconvening of subsidy for 2,009, have asked the SEF other training activities as Assistant Early Childhood Education, Basic Maintenance and Technical Building Solar Energy Installations.
These courses are aimed primarily at the unemployed although a high percentage of active workers could be part of them.
On the other hand, are being carried out other training activities related to topics such as information, healthy eating, English, among others, where any person interested in all of the above can go, from 8:00 to 15:00 hours Local Development Centre located in the Industrial El Saladar, New Street Gardens, 5 Totana.
