The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the president of the Illustrious Cabildo Processions Senior, Juan María Zamarreño, have signed a collaboration agreement with an amount of 51,000 euros to organize all the processions of the Semana Santa de Totana 2009.
As explained the municipal councilor, the City has as one of its priority objectives stimulate and facilitate activities and initiatives that promote Totana Easter.
Thus, through economic cooperation is given to the Cabildo help fraternities and guilds to organize events and processions.
Both entities are working together to promote the record of the Declaration of Regional Tourist Interest Easter Totana, since it is one of the objectives set by the local government for this term.
To do so, according to Martinez Andreo said yesterday during the signing of the agreement has created a joint commission composed of technical staff of City Hall and the board of the City Council to fill the administrative and record.
