About 600 students of the IES "Juan de la Cierva" and "Prado Mayor" and the CES "Reina Sofía", participated in the "Conflict Resolution Workshop" taught by the "Guidance and Counselling Service for Parents of School-Aged Children Cultural Mediation "by the Department of Education, where performances are held intergenerational and intercultural mediation.
The Councillor for Education, Trinidad Cayuela, expressed his satisfaction with the results obtained and that the contents covered in the workshops have been attractive and interesting for students and very successful, given the relational situations that currently exist in schools and outside on them as teachers.
Contents worked during the training sessions have been conflict resolution techniques, learning social skills as well as the analysis of situations that incite violent acts.
These materials, which have been worked through group dynamics, conflict resolution games, debates and lectures, according to the mayor, "have led to work with students respect for differences, tolerance of different views, the control of violence and aggression. "
All contents treaties have been oriented primarily toward the improvement of friendly coexistence and conflict resolution in education and family.
The mayor thanked the Regional Employment Service and Training the granting of the subsidy that has made it possible to hire an unemployed person, with the main objective of acquiring work experience and to develop actions related to mediation.
