The project approval phase is coming to an end and has begun fund warrants for financing by the MAP

Today has published a new authorization resolution of 1,278 new projects in 293 municipalities, amounting to 195,974,438.40 euros, which will generate 10,193 jobs

The Ministry of Public Administration has already approved the 95.5% of the projects (29 528), for an amount of EUR 7,816,087,582.10

The Government has already initiated the first payment amounts.

So far, it has transferred 70% of 343 projects amounting to 170 municipalities

The Ministry of Public Administrations (MAP) today approved the 1278 financing of other projects presented by 293 municipalities and two district councils, under the Local Investment Fund approved by the Council of Ministers on 28 November.

The total amount of these projects amounts to 195,974,438.40 euros, with an estimated 10,193 direct jobs.

This approval enables municipalities to start, and the tendering of the works.

The approval decision was published on the website of the Ministry (www.map.es) in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree that regulates the fund.

Today authorizations include requests made between 13 and 24 January.

With this new resolution is coming to an end the authorization phase of projects will be financed by the Local Investment Fund.

The Ministry of Public Administrations (MAP) has so far approved 7,749 29,528 bills submitted by municipalities and 6 associations to be funded from this fund.

These projects account for 95.5% of the nearly 31,000 applications have been the consistory.

Approved projects with a budget of EUR 7,816,087,582.10, generated 266,570 direct jobs.

The Ministry of Public Administration received until 24 January deadline for submission of projects, nearly 31,000 initiatives totaling more than 7.998 million euros.

It is estimated that these projects will generate over 278,000 jobs.

First drawings would

The Ministry of Public Administration also has proceeded to a new resource warrant the Local Investment Fund, worth 8,000 million euros.

The total payments so far total 8,604,374.03 euros, corresponding to 70% of the budgets of 343 projects submitted by 170 municipalities.

These drawings would have been made after verification, by the MAP, the award of contracts undertaken by the municipalities.

The Government shall pay to municipalities the amounts remaining after the conclusion of the work and justifies the realization of the investment and payment to the contractors through the proper certifications, according to the Royal Decree that regulates the measure.

Among the municipalities that have already begun to receive the funds to finance their projects are Madrid, Valencia, A Coruña, Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), Don Benito (Badajoz), San Fernando (Cádiz), Potes (Cantabria), Argamasilla of Alba (Ciudad Real) or Totana (Murcia) and 56 municipalities with fewer than 200 inhabitants who are doing the works through direct execution.
